Having recently become homeless due to domestic problems, I knew this life was not for me. But I had another problem besides homelessness– I like alcohol too much! Some days when I was so stoned, I could barely walk or talk. But the staff at the New Life VCHC never gave up on me! I was there when Pastor Mark issued the His inspired six-month challenge to let God break the chains of homelessness and addictions. I cried out to Him: ” Lord save ME!” And after I surrender all– Jesus started moving mountains! I have been sober for 5 months! God blessed me with an apartment and a job! I have reunited with my family! Jesus said He would, and He kept His word! I thank Jesus and the New Life VCHC for never giving up and inspiring me to let Jesus lead the way!
