The homeless and hurting that New Life Evangelistic Center is serving, urgently need your help, as the coronavirus is spreading throughout the bi-state area.

NLEC is expanding its efforts to provide a refuge for the homeless women and children in smaller shelters known as safe houses.   The homeless men are being sent to farming communities that New Life has in New Bloomfield and Marshfield, Missouri.

Deep cleaning to fight the coronavirus is taking place at the various NLEC Outreach Centers, particularly in Springfield, Missouri where upwards of 200 individuals come for assistance daily.

For the past 48 years, New Life Evangelistic Center has been on the front lines when it comes to providing solutions for the hurting and homeless.

Presently New Life Evangelistic Center has nine Safe Houses providing shelter for women, children, the elderly and the infirm.  New Life has three major training centers in Overland, Marshfield and New Bloomfield, Missouri.  In Springfield, New Life Evangelistic Center has the largest daytime facility for the homeless in Southeastern Missouri and Northwestern Arkansas.

Daily New Life Evangelistic Center’s first responders go throughout downtown St. Louis directly helping the homeless.  All of this is possible because of caring people like you who have partnered with NLEC in the past.

Now, your tax-deductible gift is needed at this time.  Your help is essential to not only meet the ongoing needs of New Life, but to help with extra expenses that are arising as a result of NLEC’s efforts to respond to the coronavirus.

As we are trying to respond to COVID-19, and expand New Life’s outreach to the homeless, we are also opening additional smaller safe houses to help the homeless get off the streets and not be packed into overcrowded shelters.  I cannot stress how urgent it is that you share your much-needed gift now in order that we may continue to help many of the homeless like Brenda, Angela, Janet, and Audrey and her children, who need NLEC at this time.

Please let me hear from you today.

          Yours in Christ,

          Larry Rice

P.S. Please continue to keep New Life Evangelistic Center in your daily prayers.  As you give to New Life Evangelistic Center, I want you to know that every gift that you share is making a dynamic difference for good in the life of the hurting and homeless.
